Based on ‘This Motoring’ by Stenson Cooke - by kind permission of the Automobile Association. Sir Stenson Cooke, the first secretary to the Automobile Association, was knighted for his services to motoring in 1933. He and Lady Cooke tell the story of how the creation of the AA came about. It will be of interest to any motorist who has ever needed service, direct, immediate and personal.
